Spring is here, and it’s time to hit the road with confidence! Make sure your vehicle is ready for the season by switching to certified summer or all-season tires for better performance and a smoother ride.

Why switch to summer/all-season tires?

  • The best time to switch from winter tires to summer/all-season tires is when temperatures consistently stay above 7°C.
  • Winter tires are designed for cold weather and become soft and wear faster in warmer temperatures.
  • Summer/all-season tires provide better handling, durability and a smoother ride in warm and wet conditions.

Not sure if you need new tires?

Bring your vehicle into your local Master Mechanic to get them checked, or try this at home:

  1. Insert a quarter in between the grooves of your current tires with the caribou’s nose facing down.
  2. If you see the tip of the nose, it means it might be time for new tires.

    * Valid only at participating Master Mechanic locations. Contest will run from March 17, 2025 – May 19, 2025. Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the contest. Purchase of new tires or tire change must be purchased and completed at a participating Master Mechanic location. Winners will receive a cheque in the amount of max $1,000 each. Contest includes four (4) prizes of $1,000 each. One entry per person, per letter/invoice number. Winners will be contacted via phone or email on or around May 26, 2025. Expiry: May 19, 2025.
