It’s time to roll into spring!

How to know when it’s time to change your tires:

  • Temperature is consistently staying above 7 degrees Celsius
  • No longer snow or ice on the ground

 

Why should I change my tires?

  • Winter Tires are designed to drive on cold surfaces, when the weather turns warmer you could damage the tred of your tires by continuing to drive on them
  • Driving with Winter Tires on warmer roads could affect performance, stopping power and gas mileage

 

How to know when you need new tires?

Bring your vehicle into your local Master Mechanic to get them checked, or try this at home:

  • Insert a quarter in between the grooves of your current tires with the caribou’s nose facing down
  • If you see the tip of it’s nose, it means it might be time for new tires!

    *Valid only at participating Master Mechanic locations. Contest will run from March 18 – May 20, 2024. Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the contest. If purchasing a change service and / or new tires, must be purchased from a participating Master Mechanic location. Winners will receive a cheque in the amount of max $1,000 each. Contest includes four (4) prizes of $1,000 each. One entry per person, per letter/invoice number. No cash value. Restrictions may apply. Expiry: May 20, 2024.
