Spark Plug Replacement
WHAT IS IT
Spark plugs are one of the key components of your vehicle’s ignition system. They are responsible for igniting the gasoline and air inside your engine to produce power.
WHY DO IT
Over time, the electrode end of your spark plugs will wear down and this can cause difficulty starting your car, a rough idle, and engine vibrations that can lead to engine damage. We recommend replacing spark plugs every 80,000 – 140,000KMS, or follow your manufactures maintenance schedule.
HOW IT’S SERVICED
Your Master Mechanic technician will run a diagnostic test to find any issues that might be related to faulty spark plugs. (Your car has multiple spark plugs – up to two per cylinder.) Any faulty spark plugs found will be removed and a new one installed. Depending on the health of your remaining spark plugs, it may make sense to have them all replaced at the same time. This will save you multiple trips to the shop to replace them one-by-one.
